mussels, belgian mussels!

notjustastomach | Jan 24, 201607:05 AM     6

Brabant used to be a favorite go-to meeting place for a good friend of mine, a Belgian, and myself. A joyful and relaxed evening of eating mussels and drinking Belgian beer. Now that Brabant is no more, where might we go in its stead? Leaving the Belgian theme aside, where might we go for an unhurried, unfancy bowl of delicious mussels?

I'm going to leave this open geographically, since there might be North County people who would be interested in the answer. For myself, it takes a lot to get me north of La Jolla -- might as well just go to LA.
