Best Multi-Taskers

As Alton Brown says, why give kitchen space to anything that you're not going to be using regularly. As a reformed gadget whore who still has entirely too much crap taking up space and entirely too small a kitchen, I'm wondering what you guys think are your most versatile tools. And what you've learned to get along without.

For my part, I've discovered that my potato ricer also doubles as a spaetzle press and a food mill. Of course, it helps that it has interchangeable dies for fine/med/coarse applications.
