Hello, my mom has a vague memory of some sort of store specializing in icees/slushies opening in the Twin Cities. Does anyone know any details about this? She thinks it was called Fizzies of Fizzy's or something like that, and that they had some sort of naming dispute with Izzy's the ice cream store. A phone book and extensive internet search haven't revealed anything.
You can stop reading, I don't really have anything else pertinent to say.
I'll mention that I think Mongkok (an Asian restaurant) somewhere around Maplewood/Roseville (I don't know exactly what town it's in) is the best inexpensive restaurant I know in the area, and I would recommend it to anyone. (I usually get Drunken Noodle with Tofu, but I'm very confident that the vegetables at least are good on everything.) Sorry for the digression, and I apologize in advance if I make a post in the future saying pretty much the same thing (just about Mongkok). I think the restaurant deserves to be more popular than it is (it's not in the best location: a little strip mall).
