Last minute (securable within 2 weeks) reservations for non-sushi/ramen/tonkatsu restaurants in Tokyo

Hi guys,

Going to be in Tokyo for a few more weeks and I feel like I've been overfocusing on certain genres of restaurant. I'd like to check out some more good places before I leave, but I'm not as confident in choosing outside my comfort zone. I'll consider any price range and can handle making a reservation in Japanese over the phone, but it has to be bookable before the end of the month, so places like Den/Motoyoshi are out. I'll be dining alone for the most part, so counter style restaurants would be heavily preferred. Anyway, If anybody has any tips, I'd be extremely grateful to hear them.
