Welcome to our nominations for Spring/Summer 2021 Baking/Dessert COTM, which will run from May through July of this year. This the time of late spring and early summer when we start seeing more choices in fresh fruit, when we’ll see occasions including Mother’s and Father’s Day and graduations, with warmer weather meaning we can gather outside for safer socializing in what we hope will be the waning months of the pandemic.
What to nominate? All manner of baked goods, sweet and savory, and other sweet treats are fair game. Past experience has shown that a single source (one book or website) yields the most fruitful participation (vs. say, an author's collected works).
HOW TO NOMINATE: Please type the titles of books or sites you wish to nominate in ALL CAPS for easy recognition. (If discussing rather than nominating a book or site, please use regular capitalization to avoid confusion.) You may nominate as many books or sites as you wish. NOMINATIONS WILL CLOSE on TUESDAY, APRIL 20 at 10 AM EDT/1 PM PDT.
As a reminder, we have already done the following books or sites since reviving this tradition in late 2015 (please feel free to look up and add to those threads, links to which are available within this thread: https://www.chowhound.com/post/links-...):
