Mashed Potato help...

I am not a huge fan so I never make them. I have to make them for a dinner this week, though, and don't have a lot of time.


Can I make them the day before and somehow reheat?

Do I really need a food mill?

Do you like keeping skins on?

If you make garlic mashed, is roasting the garlic a necessity?
