I was cleaning out the pantry and found 2 little bottles, nips really, of maple syrup. Judging from the bottle design (like a small jug with a handle) and what's left of my memory, I'm guessing they could be 10 - 15 years old.
They have screw tops and a paper cover over the bottle opening. One of the screw tops was loose, I took it off and the paper cover was secure. They look good, clear, not cloudy, not crystallized, nothing floating in the syrup.
So, should I use them or lose them?
