Had some friends in from NYC including a former chef from Jean Georges. Went to Mako as was recommended by a friend and also in close proximity to my friends' hotel.
While I've eaten at some of the finest restaurants in NYC and LA, I have yet to be so outraged by a restaurant. While the food ranged from okay to good, the portion size was ridiculous given the prices. We had both steaks which were priced at $20 and $23 for the skirt and rib-eye, respectively. Each plate had about 3-4 slices of meat, plus the skirt was 1/3 fat.
