Hi,

I am a little out of touch regarding which NYC restaurants are the best for a special lunch. Pricewise, I am fine at $35, $50 or $75 levels (without tips and taxes), but would expect different levels of food/ ambience from each of these levels; I care about the value.

I can spontaneously think of - Bouley, Del Posto, GK, Clocktower, MoMA, Gotham Bar and Grill, NoMad, Gramercy Tavern, Cafe Boulud, Marea, Le Bernardin, Jean Georges (Nougatine or inside).

Any particular recommendations, either from this list or other names? And, just as relevant, which of the above names do not really belong on that list?
