Lunch pizza at Pie-Tanza

Steve | Dec 27, 2005 10:33 AM

I am happy to confirm that Pie-Tanza in Arlington will make a 10" pizza for lunch if you ask. (This is not advertised at the restaurant, you have to ask) A pizza with two toppings and a soft drink is $9. I got the red and yellow tomato pizza, and it is one of the most delicious pizzas I've ever eaten. No kidding. That and the red pepper/garlic pizza are consistently divine.

My only caveats are that, like many pizzas, they don't work so well for take out, and the pepperoni pizza is not so good, too much saltinesst kills the delicate flavors.
