We intend to go to Reims on a day trip from Paris this April. Want to go to two champagne houses and see a few sites in the city including the cathedral before taking the train back to Paris for dinner. Can we reasonably fit a lunch at Crayeres into this plan? How long should we expect to spend? Must the menfolks wear jackets? ties? What should we expect to spend per person for lunch? If time is at a premium, I assume we're better off ordering ala carte than a menu, correct? From everything I've read, this place is very special and, indeed, we should be thinking of spending the night rather than doing a "short" lunch. I almost feel silly for asking these questions, but I hate to give up on a great experience if I can have it and still make everything else work. Thanks for any help you can give me.
