Is there such a thing as good tasting lowfat icecream? I have thought of replacing some of the heavy cream with half and half, but I am not sure if the texture would be ok. I have also read that the texture is affected if you use gelatin and evaporated milk.
Anyone have any good recipes that they could share? I prefer ice cream over yogurt, but if I can not find a healthy ice cream recipe, I might have to consider making frozen yogurt instead. I have already made sorbet, but I find that they often have high sugar content.
