The lady and myself will be meeting her Boston chef mother in Lew-a-vul in a couple weeks. I wish I could narrow down what I was looking for but I really can't. I've eaten my way through all ends of the spectrum. From high end cuisine in Athens to "bizarre" food from a street cart in Kuala Lumpur. I used to live in Asheville, NC so am well versed in the wonders of southern cooking, both authentic and fusion. Chow chow on pig ears? Yes please. We'll probably only hit one high end restaurant and a mix of the rest. If it's in a bad neighborhood I 100% don't care, I'm from Detroit. Did I mention we have a thirst for local beers and spirits?
