Long Weekend in Boston - Any Suggestions?

TedBain | May 28, 2008 08:39 AM

Hi there. I will be traveling to Boston for the first time at the end of June and am looking for some mid-range places to eat. I have been reading the board and have read some very detailed responses, all of which I will take with me. The problem is I'm a little hazy on the locations of the various neighborhoods reference points and the distances from where I will be staying.

I am staying at Club Quarters at 161 Devonshire St. I have read that the north end is a good spot for Italian, but I'm not sure where the north end begins or ends.

If I can get some ideas for walking/cab distance places I sure would appreciate it.

Mainly looking for Italian or steak or miscellaneous continental. Safe bets. No seafood unfortunately - allergies. For a New York reference I'm think Crispo or Da Andrea. That sort of thing.

Looking primarily for dinner but any suggestions for breakfast and lunch while walking around would be great. Kinda of a lot to ask but anything will help. I am, to be sure, deeply appreciative. Thanks.
