We spent five wonderful days in London, with the most beautiful weather ever!
Here are some of our food highlights:
Dinner at L'Autre Pied. This restaurant offers a pre-theater prix-fixe dinner (from 6 to 7) on weekday evenings, and it is superb.
There are two choices of appetizer and two of main course. The night we were there, it was hake or pig, so perhaps this is not for everyone.
But every bite, from two amazing amuse-bouches to the exquisite appetizer and entree, was outstanding. I took photos of the food to send back to my foodie sister in the U.S. Even the bread selectio was great.
You can view the menu online; it changes frequently.
Bocca di Lupo: Another old favorite. Everything wonderful, including the Blood Orange granita which I hope to duplicate at home.
Breakfasts: We stay near Marylebone Lane, so we had our coffee and croissant in the delightful cafes here.
All of our eating in London was high quality and enjoyable.
