Location for small rehearsal dinner (15 people) in Montauk area Columbus weekend?

ZenFoodist | Sep 11, 201505:29 AM     5

Was thinking Harvest, but they only have a 5pm spot available, and that's way too early. We could leave it to chance and call one week before (and try to snag two or three tables) as is their reservation policy, but that makes me nervous. Also they could not offer a "set menu" if we went through the regular reservation system. Gossman's Dock? Shagwong? Haven't been in years. The wedding is at Gurney's on the Saturday night and we have brunch there that Sunday. Thinking somewhere off the property for the rehearsal would work better.

The church is in South Hampton, so technically the dinner could be there as well although we would prefer right in Montauk.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance.
