The Palm is introducing 4 new lobster dishes through the end of May, and is holding a cooking "class" at the West Hollywood location where Palm Executive Chefs will demonstrate the preparation of the new dishes. The class will be followed by a sit-down dinner featuring the new dishes, with wine, salad and dessert. You also get a copy of The Palm Cookbook and a canvas tote bag from the wine people. The cost is $50 plus tax and tip. This seems to me like a pretty good value, assuming that you want the book and the wine is decent. The class is sold out but I'm told that another will be scheduled. If you call the Palm they'll put you on a waiting list for the sold-out class which will get priority for the second class.
