Lee's Sandwiches

I finally stopped here on my way home, yesterday. I'm really glad I did. The place was immaculately clean and I guess I thought this was some little sandwich joint. WRONG! The place is huge.
I did research, so I knew what I wanted, before I even walked in the door. I ordered the #6...the BBQ pork sandwich with extra meat and a Thai iced tea.
YUM! The sandwich was so flavorful and the bread was crispy outside and soft inside. I agree with Seth Chadwick when he says it would have been better if the bread was at least warm, but I won't hold it against them. The roof of my mouth isn't too happy, as it's a little torn up from the bread....only because I was scarfing it so fast, I didn't have time to rest. I loved the soy/mayo's almost sweet tasting. The jalapenos and cilantro wasn't overpowering at all, and it made the sandwich. The iced tea was good, but not as good as Cyclo's Thai iced tea, but really good.
So now I'm hooked and am going to have to eat there at least once a week. Which really isn't a bad 3bucks a sandwich, it fits in my budget.
Thanx again Seth for your wonderful reviews and suggestions. I'll eventually get to ALL the places on your website.
