dined at the new pizza and much more bistro at 192 mott st last evening. very neopolitan, simple, spare but comfortable decor, raging brick oven putting out great thin crusted pies with an assortment of very italian toppings - potato, arugula, zucchini blossom, prosciutto etc......the owner was a partner at PIE on 4th av and has now opened this lovely spot. he uses ace ingredients, also has delicious pastas, fish, meats and salads and a coming wine list. for now he offers a few wines and beers. i had a pizza with walnut pesto and buffala mozz.....and a salad of fennel, greens, pignoli nuts, citrus - a very enjoyable and satisfying meal. must say.
