I bought some lard recently to try to get more flavor in porkchops. I haven't used it for anything else yet. I keep it in a plain wrapper in a back corner of the frig. If my wife discovers it I am going to claim it is irish butter that I bought and then forgot about.

Does anybody use lard nowdays and for what? Thanks
