Langers - Finally!

WildSwede | Jun 19, 200601:13 PM

Finally got the chance to try Langers on Saturday. Ordered #19 - pastrami, coleslaw, Russian Dressing, cheese (opted for the "Nippy" cheese vs. Swiss - the Nippy cheese was described as a sharp cheddar/tillamook style) around $11.50. Ordered a side of potato salad $1.95 and a Cel Rey (they still have 'em!!) $2.50 (?).
The sandwich was, in a word, Fantastic! Juicy, succulent, flavorful pastrami, bread was chewy, tough in a few places near the crust, delicious with some of their spicy mustard slathered on! Just so good.
Potato salad was very good. Very subtle in flavor. Just potato, scallions, relish (or celery) and a sprinkle of paprika. I wolfed that down!
Cel Rey went very well with the meal. Perfect! Absolutely perfect.
