La Tasca Clarendon actually improved

Ate at the Clarendon location today. Been there 3 times before, and the desserts and sangrias have always beem good, but the tapas have always been mediocre (although i liked the goat cheese/tomato salad.) Ate there today in a group of seven and ALL of the tapas I tried were good. Definite improvement. The squid was really good (and I've only locally said that about joe's noodlehouse). the paella has improved. the lamb chop special of the day was very good. had several other dishes. good. nothing was mediocre. odd. I didnt let anyone order one dish (lamb w/wine), cuz it was previously unchewable...but it may be fine now.

The flan was still very good, even if it is off-menu.

They may just have been having a good night. I know they haven't changed chefs.

Anyone had good meals at teh Clarendon location lately? (I'm not asking about the Chinatown location).
