La Salsa Mexican Restaurant | Oldtown Salinas

Melanie Wong | Mar 4, 201709:22 PM

My first visit to La Salsa Mexican Restaurant in Oldtown Salinas was part of the menudo hunt. I was impressed by the array of salsas and the chewy handmade flour tortillas that time.

This week La Salsa made for a quick and convenient business lunch. My dining companion had a trio of carne asada tacos. For me, one taco de pescado and one taco de camaron. The handmade corn tortillas were heavenly with scorched notes and pleasant chewiness. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes to make our next appointment.
