I've been several times to this new Moroccan place on 77th (between 4th and 5th) in Bay Ridge now, and can register my approval without qualification. My favorite by far is the chicken briwat, five or six triangular turnovers filled with a savory chicken mixture that is in consistency midway between a puree and a mince. Fucking brilliant! The sandwiches are good, if a bit dry. On my last stop, I dumped the briwats (with the accompanying salad, which is part Israeli salad and part pico de gallo) into the bread. I've promised myself one of the $7.50 (!) tagines on my next visit. I'll file a report afterward.
