If you love pupusas and other food from EL Salvador this is the place. It is a hole in the wall and the servers don't speak English (although there is usually one person working who does), and like all of my favorite restaurants there is always a soccer game going at full volume along with the jukebox. The Pupusas are great!!! The pupusa revuelta (beans, cheese and meat) is the best I would say. The cortido is really tasty as is the homemade sauce they bring. I really enjoyed the chicarron with yucca and the Horchata. It is a family run place and everyone is super friendly.they also make a variety of other Salvadoran food that looks great, but I have not tried.
It is located on Jefferson blvd in the mini mall one block west of Vermont Avenue.
