krystal's barbecue

I've noticed several postings about Krystal's in Woodside, but none of them (that I saw) singled out for mention the scrumptious barbecue to be had there. In my opinion, Krystal's barbecue (pork or chicken) sticks are hands down the best among the Filipino restaurants in that section of Woodside, far surpassing Ihawan's, which are too gamey and chewey, and certainly not even in the same ball park as the rancid-tasting meat you get at Perlas ng Silangan across the street. Krystal's meat sticks are dressed in a perfectly balanced sweet-tangy marinade and the pieces are small enough to enjoy without pulling off more than you can chew...and don't forget to get the garlic rice on the side and maybe also an order of the fresh lumpia. And, yes, the laing is top-notch.
