Sorry this is probably repetitive, but a specific answer to my question would be useful. I cook all the time, would consider myself above average. Im looking for some help and recommendations for knives to put on my registry. I don't want to cheap out on this, but also want to be reasonable. I'd like to stay around 600-700 for a set, but it doesn't have to be a full set- I'd rather buy separates than be stuck with an expensive carving knife I'll use twice a year! I've looked at Shun knives and Wusthof, but I'd love to hear what you all think about these and others. Thanks!!
