My chowpups do love their Japanese food, especially the miso soup, the "popping beans" edamame, the prawn tempura and anything glistening with sweet teriyaki sauce. BUT, we're getting tired of that menu, frankly. We've tried Chinese, but end up ordering plates of stuff that go uneaten.... I think the Japanese experiment was successful because we could order small amounts of many different things, and they weren't overwhelmed by massive dishes of food. Any Vancouver parents out there with some favourite kid-friendly hang-outs, ethnic or otherwise? Thanks, Redhead.
