I'm wondering how to keep summer fruit a little longer than its short season. Apricot and blueberries season seems too short to enjoy them, so I'd like to have the taste around a little longer.
I'm looking for two types of recipes,
(1) things I can make and send to friends for later in the year,
(2) things that can enhance a dessert later in the year like a raspberry puree.
So far, I'm planning to make:
- brandied cherries
- peach aperitif
- blueberry jam
