Junnoon Restaurant Review - Palo Alta, CA

Went here Monday night for 2nd wedding anniversary. It was excellent! I was nervous taking my husband as he was born and raised in India (parents were teachers at an international school), so he is picky! But it was great! The food was perfectly spiced, and a great balance of traditional and fusion tastes.

We got the cauliflower main dish. It was really good - came with a yummy "avocado raita." However, it was WAY too much for two people. I would not recommend getting this for 1-2 people to share and definitely not ideal for just one person.

We also had the tandoori salmon - delicious! I would definitely get that again. It was perfectly cooked and the spices were very well balanced.

The old-Delhi style chicken was delicious! The roasted eggplant crush was super yummy. Basically, it was all REALLY good. I'm happy my sisters live nearby (live in Seattle myself), as my husband and I will definitely go again the next time we visit!

Oh - and the khulfi dessert is great! They were super cute and had it come out with a candle in it. Service overall was quick, efficient, and friendly! And portion sizes were more than reasonable. Plan on having leftovers for lunch! (not enough rice/naan for leftovers though)
