JN's Bbq in Pomona - anyone been?

cant talk...eating | Jan 20, 201405:49 PM

Curious about this place, on White Ave. in Pomona just south of I-10. Website here: http://www.jnsoriginalbbqpithouse.com/

Stopped in a few days ago middle of lunch hour on Saturday. One customer, one person behind the counter, and a strong/overpowering smell of disinfectant (Bravo Burger across the street was packed). No smell of food or sound of cooking. Counter guy (the lone employee, apparently) vanished out the back for around 10 min., heading toward an outbuilding where I guess the food is prepared (sort of a converted garage), and no other potential customers arrived.

Menu featured normal bbq items, but also boba tea and some kind of rice bowl. Got a completely weird vibe so we just bailed w/o waiting for food to arrive (after paying of course). Anyone know what we missed?
