J.Joo Thai Cafe update

A while back there was a thread about this place in Studio city. Well, seeing as how I live literally across the street, I decided to start going here. I'm very happy with the two times I've been so far, there will definitely be future visits. The initial review was positive, as is this one. Fresh ingredients, definitely spicy to my tastes (You can request what you want; I'm the type of guy who's into pureed habaneros with a little vinegar and salt) and cheap prices make this a definite keeper. Only dish I've had so far that was lacking was a noodle dish with pork and basil, was a tad on the flat side, needed more basil. But this being picky. Everything else I've had from there, including a yellow and red curry, has been really great. 5-7 bucks for an a la carte entree. Nice homey decor inside too, I definitely wouldn't mind dining there if it wasn't just as easy to run back across the street and eat on my couch in my boxers.

It's on Ventura Blvd, nearest cross street is Vineland. It's in a small plaza with a Tortas Mexico, and a Supercuts. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood.
