Jean Georges and Le Bernardin for Lunch

djquinnc | Mar 11, 201402:52 PM

I will be visiting from Los Angeles in a couple of weeks. I’ve wanted to cross Jean Georges and Le Bernardin off of my to-do list, and was thinking that lunch might be the most relaxed and cost effective way to do so My thoughts were to visit the lounge at Le Bernardin, to possibly partake in the City Harvest lunch and perhaps more importantly, I do not want to pack my jacket for this trip. From what I’ve gathered, jackets are not required at Jean Georges for lunch. I’ve been reading some past posts with reports that favor Bouley for lunch over Jean Georges and Le Bernardin. However, the menu on Bouley’s website does not excite me much. The only other two reservations that I have are Annisa (which I love) and Sushi Nakazawa (which I am cautiously excited about considering the less than stunning posts I have read from other diners). Tentative meals at Carbone, dell’anima, and Monument Lane are also possibilites. Any feedback on my lunch plans would be greatly appreciated.

Le Bernardin,
Sushi Nakazawa,
