A cautious (not completely unadventurous) dining companion is joining me for dinner at JG this weekend.
(The mere names of certain dishes and foods turn him off to the point he won't taste them, but I can get him too, and he will even enjoy them, if........ read on.)
Of course, I'm hoping for the seven course tasting. But he will not be happy about it until he knows what will be served -- I thought to tranquilize him ahead of time, with a few powerful drinks. He doesn't mind not knowing until he is seated, but I do.
Has anyone been recently? If so, can you list some of the dishes? I can then tell him and get his approval OR take your info and prepare myself to argue in favor of the seven courses.
It is spring, isn't it? (Weather still feels like autumn to me.) I'm hoping the menu has changed.
It's pure agony, not knowing if I'll have the seven course. I have no patience and want to start thinking about it now.
Also, chocolate desserts are still the way to go? Or has something new and exciting been added?
(Guess I can call and ask, but...... I wouldn't call anonymously...... and don't want them to think anyone at my table may be cautious or picky.)
