Has anyone been to the Jahn's in either Richmond Hill
or Jackson Heights recently?
We are bringing our daughter and her friends out for a
birthday dinner in Queens tomorrow, and thought we
would follow with a trip to an ice cream parlour. Her
diet is limited, and she is happy to indulge us with a
visit to someplace like Salut, Penang, or Pio Pio for
dinner as long as dessert is more along her lines.
(Chendol or ABC and even peanut pancake don't make it
for her.) I have vague memories from my childhood of
something called the kitchen sink, and was wondering
if it is still worth the detour.
Other suggestions for kid-oriented dessert places in
Queens would also be welcome.
