Can anyone share their Italian beef sandwich recipe with me? I had one that involved cooking the roast (which had been stuffed with garlic and parmesian cheese) in a gravy made of Lawry's beef gravy mix and hot gardiniere sauce. But I lost it in a move! And if anyone knows of a recipe or a source for the right kind of gardiniere, please let me know. I live in Houston! P.S. I am from New Orleans originally and would be glad to share recipes for po'boys (nothing to 'em except the real, crusty, crunchy French bread) and the Muffaletta sandwich. Thanks!
P.S. I am Italian, but until I met someone from Chicago, I'd never even heard of Italian beef. My loss!
