i would like to cook a really nice roast beef for my visiting father. i just saw it on a japanese t.v. show and thought that it will be perfect. what i saw was beef tied with strings and with salt and multi-colored peppers. then placed on top of vege's and more cubes of meat then cooked in oven. then removed beef and while that cooled they made the sauce with remaining vege's and wine. now anyone know something like that and is that prime rib? what kind of meat do i get and how long do i cook it for and how do i make the sauce? thanks!
