We're headed to SF later this month from Saturday to Wednesday. Our first time in SF - thirtysomething couple who love to eat everything delicious, from street food to Michelin-starred. My husband will be at a conference during business hours, so I'll use that time to explore the neighbourhoods, and would love any budget-ish, casual brunch/lunch recommendations close to Golden Gate Park, the Mission (although I'll probably just check out La Taqueria), Nob Hill etc. Also seeking feedback on our food itinerary as it currently stands:
Saturday - Arrive SFO 10:30 a.m.
-Head to hotel (close to Union Square) to check in
-Lunch: Ferry Building
-Dinner: Sotto Mare
Sunday - I'm doing a tour for most of the day.
-Dinner: We have reservations at Stone's Throw but we are both hearing really mixed reviews and are wondering if we should keep this reservation or consider something else?
Monday - Lunch: Yank Sing for dim sum
-Dinner: Gary Danko (I know this isn't hugely lauded around here, but I think we will enjoy it nonetheless)
Tuesday - Dinner: Nopa
For dinners, would prefer places that take reservations as we are working around the conference schedule and aren't huge fans of long lines.
