Restaurants & Bars

ME (including Portland, ME) with larger group including kids

daveinmd | Jun 23, 201810:39 AM     9

We will be travelling from Boston up to Acadia National Park for 5 days, stopping for one night in Portland, ME in a few weeks with 6 adults and 3 kids ages 5-9, and wanted to get restaurant recommendations for Portland, ME, and anywhere along the way. I've been reading the board, and Portland looks AMAZING for restaurants, but I'm not sure which ones are good for larger groups and kids, and would love your input.

Lots of the Portland places look great:
Dinner: Eventide, Duckfat, Central Provisions
Breakfast: Holy Donut, Hot Zuppa

We are also open to taking food away...

Lunch along the way:
Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster
Bite into Maine Commissary
other lobster pounds/shacks?

We eat everything; we are coming from Dallas, New Jersey, and Boston (3 households), and we love seafood, with a slight bent towards Asian food. Moderate prices would be a plus (< $50/head without alcohol)

Thanks!!

Eventide Oyster Co.
Duckfat
Central Provisions
Hot Suppa
Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster Company
The Holy Donut
Bite into Maine
