Can anyone identify Vancouver eatery from friend's memory

Maddy | Apr 7, 2005 12:38 PM

I mentioned to a friend that I am headed to Vancouver (first trip) in a few weeks and she excitedly had a food related memory that she thinks is Vancouver. A restaurent where the floor is smooth pebbles (I picture river rocks or something as she said it made sounds) and the tables lifted up and were set down in front of you (kind of like a highchair she said). Great fish is how she recalls this experience.

Anyone have any ideas what place this is and if it still exists? Perhaps it is a figment of her imagination.

I myself am perusing the board for lots of great ideas. We will be at the Westin Bayshore for several nights before moving to Mariott Pinnancle for a conference.

I am looking for initially for breakfast suggestions near Westin Bayshore as we usually don't do hotel cafes..unless there is a reason to.

Many thanks,
