Ideas for Storing/Hanging Pots & Pans in Small Apt

manolotraveler | Oct 11, 201910:58 AM     42

Hey everyone - I'm moving in a few weeks and wanted to get some ideas for how to store my collection of copper and carbon steel pans. Also thought it'd be fun to gather pictures of peoples' collections. Have you tried a hanging pot rack? Open shelving? What's your method of choice?

Ideas suitable for small apartments are a plus, but all of it would be cool to see. Please post pictures if you can!

I'll kick things off with a picture from my current place. I use metro-style wire shelving units that double as pantry storage space - it's really easy to hang pots and pans off the sides of them. Might do this again if I don't get a better idea, but also kind of want to play around with a wall-mounted rack (or two?). I'm a little worried about a wall-rack seeming cluttered though (since my collection of pots and pans has grown a bit over time, and since some of them are pretty big... since the photo was taken I've added two 12" copper sautes, and another 10"...)
