So I treated myself and bought a pretty modestly priced 12x18 cutting board. It’s from the John Boos company - The little number that sells for $39.99 @ bed bath and beyond. $32 if you’re not a dope who forgets his 20% off coupon… I paid $39.99 <sigh>.
So I picked up a bottle of this Howard’s Feed-N-Wax - I was thinking it was a one stop shop to just use that product to get started. But now I’m looking at this product and it seems to be demanding that you start out with another treatment and this is just for maintenance. Is that the case? Do I need to trudge back down to Home Depot (yeah, I’m fooling no one... I’ll buy from Amazon!) and buy the cutting board oil first?
What I have (Feed-N-Wax)... And my first grown-up cutting board that is big enough and not a hand me down or thrift shop score.
