The wifeacita is having a "symposium", I hate corporate speak, in mid September. I'm free for three days with car and need lunch recommendations. We're staying on something called Business Park Drive, scary name, in NW Austin and I haven't been to your great city since the 80's.
I want some old school Tex-Mex, beef or chicken enchiladas, or a chile relleno.
The obligatory BBQ question. What sort of line might I find at Franklin on a weekday in mid-September or where else should I go? I'm good with a drive to Lockhart, I just don't want to wait in anything more than a twenty minute or so line.
Top Notch on Burnet. I'm there, it's close to where I'm staying and Yelp gives the burgers, fried chicken, tater tots, and onion rings good reviews. I loved Dazed and Confused as does the wifeacita and we can't be denied a trip there. Opinions please.
Dazed and Confused was a stunningly accurate depiction of my mid-70's Texas high school experience, minus the hazing and throw in some FFA cowboys and wannabe surfers. Prickford's parents were duplicates of one of my friend's parents,
The wifeacita has expressed interest in blowing her per diem on lobster. Thoughts?
Off the wall, what are the call letters of some am/fm sports channels?
