Since I basically finished my Web site, I decided to venture out and try other Sunday brunches that didnt fall into my definition of a Sunday champagne buffet brunch. I headed out today to the House of Blues gospel brunch on 5th. There are two seating times: 10 and 1. The price is $33, which includes tax and tip!
Pros: The food was excellent! The cornbread muffins, jambalaya, and prime rib were all great. The gospel show was extremely entertaining and uplifting (whether your religious or not). The service was top notch!
Cons: Only one; champagne was not included!
Overall, it was a great experience. Seeing how the price included the tax and tip, I thought it was well worth the cost. Yes, I did order a bottle of champagne what would Sunday brunch be without it?
Within the next month, I will try the brunch at Lips should be an interesting report.
Happy brunching, Jim
