Hot Dish - Twin Cities - Garrison Keillor

shoo-bee-doo | Feb 9, 200212:17 AM     31

On the Prairie Home Companion, Garrison Keillor invited 300 non-Minnesotans to come for a Minnesota weekend. (The guests paid their own way.)

Friday night they had dinner at a St. Paul Lutheran church where they served 4 different kinds of hot dish and red and green jello with Cool-Whip. Garrison was then going to lead them in hymn singing.

Saturday they have a choice of whether to go ice fishing with Garrison or to the Mall of America.

KARE showed footage on the Friday evening news. It showed people digging hot dish out of aluminum roasters and piling it on their plates.

It all looked pretty gross, but fun.
