I don't often ask this- after all, I live in Singapore. But I visit relatives in HK & Macau every year and my sister/bro-in-law always seemed at a loss whenever I visit them and ask for good S'pore food after a few weeks of HK Cantonese cuisine.
It's easy to get HK-style food in Singapore, but it seems impossible to get good Singapore (or any SE-Asian food) in HK. Am I wrong? Where can I get some genuine Singapore fare. I stay at the Mid-Levels (Po Shan Rd) when in HK, but am willing to travel anywhere - Shatin, Tung Chung, anywhere!
