Homebrew Equipment in Chicago

rien | Jun 21, 200406:10 PM     3

Hope this is food related enough to find a place on the list. I couldn't find any previous discussions of the topic with the search engine, so here goes.

I'm making some liquers at home and planning on giving it away as gifts. I'm looking for a local place where I can buy bottles and methods of sealing them. Screwcaps would be fine, but a stopper and wax would be preferred ... something appropriately stylish for a gift. I could also use some big metal containers for the infusing process - "carboys" in the 1.5/2 gallon range. Any suggested locations? The closer to the city the better - I'll be coming from Logan Square.

Many thanks,

Rien
