It's been a few years since I last hosted a Holiday Open House.
This was my standard menu for a few years:
Lemon basil shrimp skewers
Baked brie
Bacon-wrapped dates
Stuffed mushrooms (with swiss, parsley and breadcrumbs)
Crack dip (with bacon, cheddar cheese and sour cream)
Green goddess dip
Crudités
Fruit platter , sometimes with a ginger lime yogurt dip
Cheese platter with fresh breads
Prosciutto and Genoa salami platter
Party mix
Chips with French onion dip

Nanaimo bars (the salted almond dark chocolate recipe from Chatelaine or Canadian Living)
Turtle bars or other holiday cookies. I usually have 3 types of cookies or squares out.

One year I also made a tourtiére and meatballs, another year I made a porchetta.
I usually have 1 chafing dish item on the table, and have a few warm appetizers at the beginning of the night.

What are your standard dishes?
