Hog Island happy hour - are they charging admission now?

I heard from some friends who went to Hog Island @ the Ferry Building a few weeks ago for their Happy Hour (don't know if it was a Monday or Thursday that the ywent), and they were informed there was a $10 per person charge to partake of the Happy Hour. I'm not sure if this is a new policy of Hog Island, or maybe my friends were there for a charity benefit that they were not aware of (I wouldn't put it past them).

Anyhoo, since my company has moved to a location just a few blocks from the Ferry Building, I'd love to partake of the Happy Hour as long as there isn't a surcharge. Can anyone deny or confirm the surcharge? I know the farm up in Marshall charges $10/person to use their picnic area.
