Going to try to eat better for lunch...too much fried food/mexican food/burgers/fries/junk/etc. Any suggestions for "healthy" (using the term loosely here foods in Santa Monica. Doesn't have to necessarily be low carb, low fat, or organic). Just something that is healthy and appropriate for lunch time.
I've been getting the salad bar at Whole Foods which is pretty good. Mix a bunch of veggies and turkey together. A splash of dressing.
Salads are always good...I usually like Fred Segal's cafe.
chicken Cafe is ok, if the chicken wasn't so dry. I usually mask that using the Sweet Chili Sauce.
Bowl of Pho is reasonable at Pho 99 (sort of near Santa Monica).
I'm just trying to find options that are tasty and "healthy".
